Register records $142.6 million in loans - Knox County Register of Deeds

The first full week of March we recorded 1,157 documents. This included 292 Trust Deeds (loans) and 171 property transfers (Warranty Deeds).

The total value of the properties that were financed during the week was $142.6 million. The largest individual mortgage was for $51.17 million! That loan was funded by Grandbridge Real Estate Capital LLC. The second-highest loan didn’t come anywhere close but was still an enormous amount – Citizens National Bank loaned $21.18 million. There were 5 other loans over a million dollars:

On the transfer side of things, the only commercial property to sell for more than a million dollars last week was the Courtyard by Marriot. Nilhan Brookview LLC sold the hotel in Brookview Town Centre on N. Northshore Dr. for $23.23 million. Sachchidanand Hotel Brookview LLC is the new owner. That sale alone accounted for over a quarter of the total value of sales for the week. The 171 property transfers which had a collective value of $86.8 million. This included 4 private sales of over a million dollars.
