KARM buys second property in North Knoxville - Knox County Register of Deeds

October ended mid-week with a total of 5,528 documents recorded for the month. 991 Warranty Deeds were recorded with a total value of $442.7 million. The most expensive piece of property to sell was the $27 million purchase by AS Realty I LLC from Apex Bank of a portion of the former Scripps Network campus. The 1,267 loans had a total value of $443.67 million. The highest loan of the month was funded by Eastman Credit Union for $23 million.

Last week’s total of 1,352 documents included 303 Trust Deeds and 251 Warranty Deeds. Property sales had a combined value of $220.4 million with 12 properties having price tags of over $1 million; two of those were commercial properties.

In South Knoxville, the retail center at 3508 Maryville Pike, which is on the corner of Maryville Pike and Apache Trail, was sold by a private party to West Street Capital Partners LLC for $1.25 million.

In North Knoxville, the Hope Church (originally Second Baptist) at 2909 N Broadway has a new owner. Hope Fellowship sold the 4-acre property to KARM Restoration LLC for $2.15 million.

The value of the 303 recorded loans was $144.45 million with five loans more than $1 million. The highest-value loan, funded by Truist Bank, was for $6.75 million. Home Federal backed a $1.87 million loan, Regions $1.24 million, ORNL Federal Credit Union $1.06, and West Street Capital Partners LLC funded a loan for $1 million.
