Two properties each sell for almost $5 million

The staff of the Register’s office extends our sympathies to those affected by last week’s flooding – what an unimaginable tragedy. We pray that those afflicted will quickly receive the help they need to recover.
Last week (Sept 23-27) 296 loans were among the total 1,302 documents recorded. The loans had a combined value of $16.17 million. The largest of the loans, making up a quarter of the total value at $41.34 million, was backed by Newpoint Real Estate Capital LLC. There were two others with values over $10 million: Crestline Direct Finance LP loaned $28.5 million, and Pathway Lending CDE II LLC financed a loan for $10.21 million.

Real estate sales added 212 documents to the records. The aggregate value of these Warranty Deeds totaled $82.6 million. Two area neighborhoods are increasing in size with last week’s transfers. Just off Asheville Highway in East Knox County, The Ridge at Neal’s Landing, is now in phase two. D.R. Horton Inc. purchased 20 additional lots in the neighborhood from Mesana Investments LLC for $1.04 million.
The other neighborhood to see growth is in the Hardin Valley community. Hardin Valley Farm Development Inc. sold 18 lots in the Hayden Farms Subdivision (Phase 2) to Smithbilt LLC for $1.33 million.
The third commercial property was the Pero’s on the Hill restaurant in the Rocky Hill community. The restaurant and parking area at 7706 & 7704 Northshore Drive were sold by BLTN Group LLC to a private party for $1.87 million.
